Who is eligible to apply for these office hours sessions?

These sessions are designed for active FiftyOne open source users. We're looking for teams who have specific challenges or goals they want to tackle—this isn't an intro tutorial, but rather a chance to get expert help on real problems you're facing with FiftyOne.

What should I prepare before my session?

Come with a specific challenge, workflow, or goal that can be addressed within the 60-minute session. The more context you can provide in your application and during the session, the more value we can deliver. If possible, have your code, dataset details, or architecture diagrams ready to share. The clearer you are about what you're trying to accomplish, the more we can help you get there.

Will this turn into a sales pitch for FiftyOne Enterprise?

These sessions are purely technical and focused on helping you succeed with your visual AI projects. Our Enterprise Customer Success team is here to share their expertise and help you solve problems. If you're curious about Enterprise features, we're happy to answer questions, but there's zero pressure. Our goal is to help you make the most of FiftyOne, whether you're on open source or an Enterprise customer.

How will applicants be selected?

We'll review applications on a rolling basis and select a diverse mix of use cases to ensure we're helping users across different industries and technical challenges. Priority will be given to applications with clear, specific problems and teams who can benefit most from dedicated expert time.

Allen Lee

Allen is passionate about making computer vision work in the real world. Allen is an MLE at Voxel51 and spent over a decade as co-founder of Leap Scientific, a software consultancy providing custom development services in scientific computing, machine learning, and computer vision. Allen is a Rice and MIT alum and lives in New Jersey with his family, where he is busy raising the next generation of AI engineers.

Prerna Dhareshwar

Prerna is a Machine Learning Engineer at Voxel51. Passionate about applied AI, her work bridges research, engineering, and customer success to make cutting-edge machine learning accessible and impactful across domains. Prior to Voxel51, Prerna was a Senior MLE at Instrumental, where she developed models for defect detection in manufacturing, and a ML SWE at Pure Storage, focusing on predictive analytics and automation.

Eric Hofesmann

Eric is a founding Machine Learning Engineer at Voxel51 and a University of Michigan alum who is driven to bring the CV community closer to their data. His experiences in academia and working with customers lets him tackle the hardest problems in AI. He enjoys getting hands on with the newest advancements in AI and building out scalable systems to continuously improve ML solutions.

Sid Mehta

Sid is a MLE on the Customer Success team at Voxel51. Previously, he was a Senior Growth Engineer at Comet, an MLOps platform, gaining deep insight into how ML teams train and govern models at scale. His ML journey began at Intel, where he developed computer vision models for anomaly detection and object detection in Industry 4.0 applications. Sid holds Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
