Our founding story

Voxel51 was founded in 2018 at the University of Michigan when professor Jason Corso teamed up with his PhD Brian Moore to turn their research into developer-friendly tooling for computer-vision data. The explosive adoption of FiftyOne has made us the go-to platform for ML teams who work with multimodal data at scale.
