Vehicles being able to understand the world around them is critical to develop the next generation of mobility solutions. However, developing perception systems that can efficiently and reliably process sensor inputs into actionable outputs is a difficult challenge, one that spans countless industries that are building visual AI. The core of these challenges is often how effectively you can understand and utilize the visual data that is being used to develop these AI systems. This talk outlines the challenges of bringing data and model work closer together in the context of ADAS and AV applications, as well as the best practices towards solutions to these problems.
